582 Royalty-Free Audio Tracks for "Hard Sound"

Recorded using a canon gl1 and an audiotechnica shotgun mic(unsure of model number, a cheap one i'm sure). The sound of a finepoint pen scribbling on the hard cardboard of the back of a notebook. The audio is low so the gain might need to be adjusted. My professorliked this one.

Recorded with sennheiser me67 to zoom h4n as a mono track at 24bit/48k. We all know that every important sound project needs someone chewing on a carrot, so i have taken out the hard work of finding a mic, recorder, & carrot and giving direct results to you the people!. .

The entrance / exit of this parking garage is a slope, so drivers have to drive hard against it in order to reach the street level. Recorded with schoeps cmc6 mk41 into sound devices 633.

24-bit wav. Recorded with tascam dr-44wl on a windy day in my backyard. Hiding behind a fence using a hat as a wind shield. Stereo widening using hard pan and 5ms delay (so the first impulse of the sound is a bit weird).

Some synth thing i made for a track i was working on. It's a layer of a few different oscillators tuned a certain way to sound harsh. . . Then ran it through a hpf to make it ggrroowwll. . !!!!! and of course a lil echo and stuff. .

Created this by saying something like, "testing the mic" in ableton, right clicking and converting that audio. Midi > into melody. . Then adding some stock sound and some reverbs and what not. . Try it yourself.

Bi-drum finale. This sound provides an impact point, an action conclusion suggestion. I combined two drum sound samples, one of the impact with a deep echo, and one a hollow wood tube strike against a hard object to a certain rhythm. The sound is somewhat like the primal drum sounds used in survivor. I used magix music maker, magix software gmbh (www. Magix. Com) with two object plug-ins; solar wood 6_ogg_001. Edirol r-44 and audio-technica at835st. Stereo. A dog barks, but it seems to me that it sings to the music from a loud speaker that tells noon. It's hard to believe, but the dog began singing just after it had heard the sound and stopped when the sound stopped. The voice pitch also accompanied the melody.

This sound was made by looping a snare and speeding it up to make a pitch, bc pitch is allegedly just fast rhythm. I made this on july 18 2019 and then forgot about it, so it might not have been a snare that i looped. But it was either a garageband default sound or something i recorded. Please show me anything you make w/ it!.

This is the closest i could get to the ambient sound of a borg cube. I tried hard to replicate it and this is the end result. Originally recorded on an old zoom h2.

I installed in december 2011 my sound data for bfd-eco, an acoustic drum vst that really rocks. By that time i had my akai mpc 1000 connected to my computer to do some sampling. While i didn't do any sampling while the installation progressed i did hear that the external hard drive that i was installing onto sent out disturbing binary pulses that my mpc picked up. I quickly started the sampler, and recorded as much as i could of the noises. This is the result.

Thunder with water falling on cement, crackling bright sound of water hitting hard floor, spatial environment, ambience. Recorded with the tascam dr-40 built-in microphones in stereo, processed in pro tools 10, bounced to a 48khz 24bit wav file.

I recorded myself yelling "no" and i used audacity to lower the pitch and i made it louder and added an echo then i recorded myself making a weird sound and lowered the pitch and echoed and made it louder and put then together why was this so hard to freaking type.

Using a bass drum module to get not that bassdrummy sounds. . . Combining this with different types of feedback. I didn't know how to end the recording, as you will notice. I'm using an analog delay and spring reverb. Maybe the ending in it self is interesting? i find it hard to "tag" this sound :-)how useless is this sound on a scale from 1 to 5? 5 is totally useless. . .

Possible applications of this sound could be used for atmosphere building, such as a player going over a trigger in a map design for industrial-themed levels where there is a lot of hot water pipes. Edited using distortion, hard-limited compression and the sound of liquid boiling on a very high heat with an xy microphone as close as i could get it.

This sound was very simple to make. I just took the sound of an opera singer singing a scale and added reverb to it. Nothing more, nothing less. This break beat was made from freesound percussion hits, with some percussive hits from sound generators in fruity loops studio which was used to sequence and then quite heavily compressed in realtime, with seperate effects applied to the kicks and snares. Recorded out wav at 44khz 16bit stereo ~ 140bpm.

Created using lmms ( linux multimedia studio ). Here i have used zynaddsubfx for the hoover type sound and 3 instances of glitch2 vst on the drum loop that i created. There is some compression, stereo widening and side-chaining used also.

Man taking a piss in a parking lot. The sound of the urine hitting a hard surface, pavement, in a suburban aural context with zipper at end. Recorded with zoom h2; field recording background has insect chirps and distant highway noise.

This is one of those kitchen trash cans with a lid that pops open when you step on it. One time i stepped on it a little too hard and the lid bonked against the wall and made this great sound that i then had to record. Stereo 24bit w/ a sony pcm-d50.

Recorded and processed at 24bit 48khz using the tascam dr-40 linear pcm recorder. Processing: gain-staging and soft high and low frequency filtering. No eq boost or cuts anywhere else. Also de-noised.

Recording of a heavy book being drop over a wooden box damped with a cloth. We also added thin paper as a high end layer. Created by the students of the sound design workshop from the national school of arts of uruguay, at playa hermosa. Gear:zoom f8nsennheiser mk50.

My original dw toms, mixed with themselves 1 octave up [the octave up is lowered -6db and the envelope reshaped to allow loud only the attack]. Then for that resulting mixdow again the same thing [so i used the same method two times]. At all steps i was using the simple compressor[not multiband] for not allowing overlimiting. For the two general mixdowns [because it was a double process] i used hard compressor at -0. 45 dbs. And for the two octavic parallel channels i used hard compressor -3. 60 dbsbecause the octave doesn't sound realistic if not well compressed. For all my dw octavic tomsed i used the same exact method. My original dw toms are here if you want to read data or mics. These toms do not sound realistic as stand alone sounds. These harmonics work better only in a complete mixdown, and have increased audibility than the original recordings [for silent music parts use the original because low velocity of parallel instruments will expose the supportive tom-harmonics].

A hard to describe sound that might be useful for games, in particular pinball machines and similar arcade games. This is a cc0 sound, based on (at time of download) cc0 parrot ar drone 2. 0 take off, flight and landing. This is a flac file. It is lossless like wav but compressed like ogg/mp3. Use audacity or fre:ac to convert quickly to mp3/wav/ogg.
